 Alba Extractor
Alba Extractor splits mp3 files created with albumwrap, also corrupted ones (often).
So you can obtain the single tracks from an album in wrapped form, very used on file sharing systems like WinMX, KaZaA etc.
It is available for Linux and Windows.

This works well on "ALBW" files that Album Wrap Extractor seems to have problems with. I look in Winamp at File Info; if header starts well into the file, it may be a "ALBW" file; I tried this on 2 of them, and it worked for me! Thanks!!! |

Alba Extractor will extract MP3 from albums that have been "Wraped" but there are far to many full albums around that are a single file only and only a music program eg "Wavelab Lite" can split them up to seperate songs |

Very easy to use.The only problem is that it works with very few albums that I've downloaded from Kazaa. However,It's nice to have for the albums it will open. |

if nothing works with the mp3 wrap - try something like nero. it has a sound wave editor. it takes a little while to play with, but you can the song out and save it as a mp3 or wma - thanks for the software - works 50/50 |

Great ! It works where the original stopped to work !! On W2000PRO and W2003 AlbumWRAP 1.0 original stopped working and started to unwrap but LISTENING ALWAYS to the 1st song of the album .... !!! (mystery reasons) ... ALBA works so I can continue . |

DEFINITELY! Use Alba instead of the original AlbumWrap extractor! Managed to unwrap a file that the other could not. But still did not work with most of the big files Iґve already downloaded. Too bad... I had high hopes... |

This is an extremely usefull addition to albumwrap, it works much better than albumwrap extractor and I have never had an problem yet with it. When I first got it I used it to seperate all the albums albumwrap error\'d on. It done all of them... Get it now! |
