Edit400 The Studio400 Effects Editor
Edit400 enables you to control the Digitech Studio400 from any computer that has a midi connection.
Easily load any User or Factory bank effect at any time, and edit them with a click.
Effects screens have sliders and switches that allow fast, precise control of every effect parameter. The sliders are user-friendly so you can click on the numbers next to the slider and instantly change the setting. All delay times can be set by tap time using function keys.
You can save every user effect as a dump file or individually, which lets you build an unlimited library of effects and exchange them with other Studio400 owners via Email or disk swapping. Effects which are saved individually can be reloaded to any user effect location. You can save multiple effects per file and copy effects between files so you can organize your effect library by project, type of effect, or however you like.
Edit400 also includes a virtual Studio400 panel with clickable buttons, input levels, a clickable effects bypass button with function key shortcut, a very user-friendly midi program mapping screen which shows the names of the mapped effects as well as the numbers, and control of other Studio400 functions such as effect reset, program autoload, and even LCD screen contrast.
User bank effect names are remembered between editing sessions, and can be easily upated at any time with a click. User and Factory bank effect names can be copied to the clipboard. User effects can also be easily renamed.
A well-organized display of all available effect algorithms is available to make it easy to design your own effects from scratch.
In the modifiers section, you can set the waveform and frequency of the built-in LFO's and change the sensitivity and input selection for the dynamic modifiers.
Help is available at any time with a keypress.
It also co-exists peacefully with sequencers and librarians. |
