SQL ScriptSafe is the most powerful, flexible, and easy-to-use SQL Server database script versioning tool on the market.

SQL ScriptSafe's interface provides the ability to easily add all SERVER and DATABASE scripts to Visual Sourcesafe. In addition, it allows the user to do all of the standard Visual Sourcesafe functionality. The following is a list of object scripts supported by the tool:

Server: Logins, Alerts, Operators, Jobs, Backup Devices, Replication Objects, Databases, DTS Packages

Database: Tables, Indexes, Triggers, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions, Users, Rules, Roles, Defaults, User Defined Data Types

Core Visual Sourcesafe functions: Add item, check-in, check-out, undo check-out, delete with archive or permanently. Additionally, view source in Notepad is available.

Functions processed by item or recursively: Server and database items can be processed in Visual Sourcesafe either individually or recursively.

Additional Refresh functionality*: A unique feature of SQL ScriptSafe is the ability to refresh the scripts for an entire server by automatically checking-out, re-scripting the item from SQL Server and then checking-in the item

Restore deleted items back to SQL Server: Items that are in Visual Sourcesafe but have been deleted from SQL Server can be restored back to SQL Server with a single click.

BCP Export for tables: Provides basic data export feature to archive table data.

Flexibility: SQL ScriptSafe supports both SQL Server 7.0 and 2000 versions. It also provides an interface to completely configure all available scripting options.

Ease of Use: SQL ScriptSafe's main interface is simple and easy to use. It has a treeview to navigate the server and database objects.
