Interleave
Interleave is a Win95/98/NT program designed especially for images captured from video. Video images are interleaved, each image composed of two separate frames (images) interlaced into one image. The odd lines of the image represent the first image in time, and the even lines represent the second image in time (1/60th of a second after the first for standard TV style video (NTSC)). Because of this time shift any movement results in a 'smeared' image. Interleave separates the two frames into separate images and will (if selected) fill in the missing lines with either a duplicate of the previous line or the average of the previous line with the current line. |
