Historical Quotes Downloader is a software which allows you instantly download intraday and daily historical quotes of stocks, mutual funds, options, indices and commodity futures traded in US or Canada. It produces data output in a customizable ASCII format which makes it compatible with most spreadsheet and charting / technical analysis software packages like MetaStock, Omega TradeStation, Microsoft Excel and others.

This product supposedly downloads historical quotes included intraday stock data. Unfortunately it is close to useless. You can only download 500 quotes/ticker and the program will overwrite your data file so that you will never have more than 500 quotes. You can never build a database of more than 500. Even if you only need 4 or 5 quotes you the program will download 500 including 495 that you already have. A big waste in bandwidth. Very poorly written program. Do not waste your money on this one. |
