(1) DO NOT use delete files from within the RCS manager. Instead, delete the actual files from the RCS repository folder using Windows explorer. Deleting from within the RCS manager has UNPREDICTABLE results!
(2) DO NOT use 'mark a revision...' from the main menu. My experience is that this is very buggy -- I can reproduce an error where it marks files as modified after marking a revision, even though all files were up to date prior to marking the revision!!
This is good software, but some features are buggy. Avoid doing any of the above and you will be okay. |
