Need to revise my comments of 10/21/03. First, the latest version of pdfFactory is 2.02, not 3.0. Second and more important, it seems to now be creating PDF files that are about 40% larger than before. Thus, PDF-XChange 3.0, now way more compact than previously, creates the smallest files I have found. It does still have a problem fully reproducing the correct font style in some cases, though. |

Version 2.5 is pretty good; version 3.0 is better (smaller PDF files). But I would also encourage a careful look at pdfFactory 3.0 -- more expensive, but more accurate in its conversions. |
